Heartburn Simulator
The price of a cheap lunch.
Pack a lunch, cook a bowl of noodles, earn a day’s wages. Live seven days on one street through three different lives, where a cheap meal carries a human cost.

About the project
One vendor needs to sell his lunch boxes. Another keeps to the rules of his noodle stall. A worker hopes to save for his sister’s tuition. Heartburn Simulator brings food, work, and relationships together: a little money saved today can become something to face tomorrow.
What you can do
- Choose ingredients and prices, decide what to do with leftover noodles, or plan a worker’s lunch and workday.
- Get to know the regulars and notice how they respond to and remember their meals.
- Pack lunch boxes with chosen ingredients, hold to cook noodles and release to serve, or align falling bricks to build a wall.
Where it stands
The local development version includes three seven-day routes and character-specific lunchbox packing, hold-and-release noodle cooking, and bricklaying mini-games. Their results affect costs, reputation, or the day’s wages. Visuals and dialogue are still being refined. An online demo is not yet available.
