Glaze
A little privacy, right on cue.
Let your Mac screen turn frosted when you look away or leave, then clear as you look back. A local privacy-screen tool still being tuned.
macOS 14+; read the requirements and limitations before installing.

About the project
Work may keep running on your computer while you are no longer sitting in front of it. Glaze explores making screen readability follow your attention: clear when you look at it, frosted when you turn away or leave.
What you can do
- Use the camera to estimate your orientation and blur the screen after you turn away or leave.
- Calibrate your forward-facing position once, with the option to dismiss the overlay manually.
- Process camera frames locally on your Mac, without saving images or uploading footage.
Where it stands
An early Alpha that still needs tuning for different lighting, positions, and habits. The app is not notarized by Apple; installation requirements and known limitations are in the source repository. It does not replace locking your screen.
